Mr. Gasket headers?

I didn't know Mr. Gasket made headers, but I guess they at least slapped their name on someone's.

So I found a pair of headers I can buy for cheap (like under $100). But are they worth the hassle I'm sure to encounter by going cheap? Are these even worth it?

I've attached pics. So anyone have ideas of who really manufactured these? They look a lot like Hooker photos I've found on the net, and Patriot too.

They will obviously need at least some cleaning and hi-temp painting, or I'd rather have them ceramic or jet-hot coated...but that might end up a cost where I'd be better off to just buy new and ready coated. I have no idea what the coating shops charge.

These would be used on my 340 (when it's done). going in my '71 Scamp. Planning to go with alum Eddy RPM heads, 904 auto trans, power steering. Will probably be auto on the column, but I've been toying with the idea of converting to auto on the floor. Not sure which is harder to deal with for headers.

And lastly, what about avoiding full length and just going with shorty headers? I'd rather avoid any additional mods required to fit headers, but I've not found much about anyone using shorty style on their a-body here.

Those sure do look like my Hedman's.
The column auto linkage apparently needs to be lightly modded, but they say they will clear the power steering (we'll see)
I changed mine over to a Hurst auto floor shift, so I shouldn't have any linkage issue's.
I'm also curious to see if I have to run an oil filter adapter, but some say the short filter will clear ok. (we'll see about that too)
