Maybe some folks will find this interesting. I was randomly browsing real estate around my area, and I came across Mr. Norm's house for sale. Sold for $370K last year, now they want $575k. Built in 1964, just a year or so after Grand Spaulding Dodge opened, and other than some cheap pergo flooring you can see in some rooms the house looks to be an unrestored survivor. Still has an original 60's vibe to it, and it sounds like the Norms still owned it until last year sometime. I used to live around the corner from Grand Spaulding Dodge. Its was abandoned and really rough, in worse shape than this house for sure. I took pictures of my ratty looking charger sitting outside it but I can't find them now. Now GSD is a ironworks of some sort, getting some good use again.

Anyway, here is the house. Maybe someone can barter or trade 100 or so Valiants and Darts for it, lol.

Pergo flooring cheap? You crazy.

Norm (RIP) was super cool. I chatted with him a few times on Facebook. He's still in my friends list.

Imagine owning the house and waking up where Norm put his first cigar in his mouth for the day. Brill cream on that bathroom counter and a hemi wagon in the driveway. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

I spent a lot of time in that house, sad the pool is gone and left destroyed! I was like walking back in 1963 when he had it built! I never could get up in his attic where he had all kinds of stuff, hope all that was saved!

I gotta say the description in the first post is pretty danged misleading.

Based on the photos posted later in this thread that's not much better than a knock down at this point.

We saved a big dumb 70s model house here, since it was next door and apartments otherwise. We should've sold this house instead.

Sorry but that is nothing but an overpriced, overtaxed piece of property with a huge demolition/ clean up cost
