MSD Power Grid Controller

MSD Power Grid controller HELP! I'm assembling a car I bough as a roller and I'm new to the MSD system and have a mechanical advance distributor. Can the controller be programed to work with this, or..?

Make your life simple, get an MSD distributor and plug it right in to the grid. You’ll need to lock out all of the mechanical advance as everything will be controlled by the box via a laptop.

The grid is great! A crank trigger is preferred which requires locked out distributor to run. But if you don’t wanna spend the money on a crank trigger, the locked out distributor will work fine with the grid. You will not be able to run the grid without locking the distributor.
