Got a line on a pair of 26x7.5x15 MT Sportsman fronts...but they are the 1572 part#, which are recommended for cars weighing 3000# or under. My 70 Duster as most of us know is rated at 3180# give/take w/out driver....anyone running these 4ply tires? Or is everyone running the 1573 part number tires that have an 8ply rating for 3000# and above? Wondering if anyone's had trouble or used the 1572's?

Would love to pick these up cause they are brand new.... but wondering if I really shouldnt be using them at all?

I would go with a radial. what are you going to run out back ?

Yea, thinking I may go radials too...but can get these for $100ea. We'll see. I'm going to be running 15x5 and 15x8 steelies on the car. Would like to do a skinny(er) tire up front...

Out back? Undecided forsure. But looking like 275/60's probably...car is mini-tubbed but springs arent moved. Fender lips have been rolled/trimmed though. Maybe 275/50/15 BFG Drag radials if my buddy decides he wants to sell 'em...
