Howdy folks,

HELP!!!

My question is; I'm fitting a 528 Indy Maxx motor in a 69 Dart with a 8 qt race pan with big crank, windage tray, external oil pump, ect., ect. which causes the problem of the pan hanging well below the steering linkage on the Dart.

I can't notch the pan and don't won't to lift the motor mounts through the roof. So something has to give with the steering linkage. has anyone had to deal with this before and how did you solve this problem?

Thank you in advance for any help!

Wait; You are just now seeing this?
What else have you not thought of?
I hate to be an azz,but...................back up the bus.
This can be/should be/will be, a very, very, very expensive problem. At least for me it would be.

The C body pan is the best fit provided you have the V-8 center link which has a drop. I just added a deep bottom and baffles to the C body pan and used a Milodon 1/2" pickup.
