Wayman Tisdale. Drafted in the mid 80s by the Indiana Pacers #2 in the draft and played several years in the NBA for various teams. I followed his music career after he retired from basketball since he was one of my favorite players of all times. He always had this huge smile on his face even while fighting cancer. RIP Wayman!

after the bar fire and Ty Longley of Great White died , their first stop was here in colorado springs at The Union Station. the first thing we looked for when we got in the bar were the fire exits.

yeah he was a good friend of my cousin,also was in a band called trauma, before metallica.

I remember when Sid Vicious died. WBAC news in NYC had an anchor by the name of Roger Grimsby who co-anchored the ABC NY News week day evening.

Grimsby reported it like this:

"Well, Sid isn't Vicious any more. He dead". ...and did it with the standard Roger Grimsby deadpan look on his face. lol
 
buddy holly, the big bopper, muddy waters, john entwistle bassist for the who, .....one of my favorites that died way to young was tommy bolin, took joe walsh's place in james gang, had a couple of great records on his own, died when he was touring with deep purple after richie blackmore left in 1976........he was 26.
