Must Sell: 1973 340 4spd Duster project. B5 V21

Up for sale is my 73 340 4spd Duster. This car is a factory B5 blue car with white stripes, top, and interior. It was also optioned with the V21 hood treatment. I am trying to buy a house and need some money. The car is complete minus engine and I may be able to get that for you too. The car has a 3:21 Sure Grip from the factory. The car has all of the stripes and the performance. Power breaks and power steering. The car is located in Logan, UT 84321. I would like to get $2500 but am open to offers. What gives? Where are you buying a house? You know that there is a house for sale next door. Right next to the chief of police. Man that would piss him off having two loud mopars in our culdesac.

Nemesis. I would like to quit paying rent and put my money somewhere that it will help me in the long run. Plus this house has a little garage.

John, that would be funny. But I doubt I can get the same deal on that house as I can on this one. My uncle ownes it and I am going to try to do a "rent to own" tyoe thing for the first year or two and then use all of that money as my down payment. The house is in River Hights. It's a 3 bedroom 4 bath older home that needs some work. But it's cool. Has a pretty good sized yard and lots of parking. Plus you can't see it from the road. I really hope this all works out. I don't have to sell the Duster, but it would be nice to have that little bit of extra cash to put towards the house.

Dude ! Your game plan sux. You really should talk with a lender like Wachovia Motgage FSB. Banks that are on the verge of failing wont lend to the pope but banks that are buying other banks want and need dependable mortgage holders.
Signed papers before the years end gets you a 8000.00 tax credit from Uncle Barrack LOL.
If you have to go to a Quick Credit and borrow against the title on the Duster and most everything else you own at 33% interest to put together a down payment do that too. Pay that off with the tax refund.
If bad or worse comes along let Quick Credit have the car etc.. and scar your credit. Do whatever is nessesary to keep a house once you buy one.

The thing is, is I am keeping the Gold Duster. It is much closer to a driver. No body will lend me money towards my 340 car is it is torn down. I don't need the 340 car but I do need a place to live. I am sick of paying rent. It gets you no where. I don't have to sell the Duster, but it would be a big help. As for getting title loans, then I have more loans to pay along with the house payment. I want as little debt to pay every month as I can, that way I can pay up to $6k more a year on just the princable. That will knock the payments off several years earlier. It's really a good plan. I will be sad to see the 340 car go and I really would love to see it finished. But right now it's just not feasable for me. Between work and school both full time, trying to get my Gold Duster going, and if I get the house, house work. And I can't forget hanging out with the ladies. I will have negative time to work on the 340 car. I won't even have time to play with my Gold Duster or the 71 Dodge truck that I have. The truck is going to come in handy though. I have lots of garbage to get out of the yard if I buy the house. I already have friends that are moving in with me that will help pay the rent. So that will also be a huge help.

If I don't sell the Duster, I won't feel bad. I just need to to help get the ball rolling.

Never rely on friends,no matter how good or how long they been friends, Make sure you can afford this by yourself then do it !!
plus the "friends" will think they own the house also when that time comes... trust me they will !!

according to a realtor at work. he said you have to be closed on the house by December 1. in order to get the $8000 tax credit. so better think about it and hurry up..

Well, two of the friends are just roomates even now. I have told them my plan about buying the house and they know they will not be owners. I will even get that in writing. Anyway. I am off to go look at it again now. So talk to ya'll later.
