When my build is finished I'll complete the details and the dyno sheets. Just got these heads and my machinist pressure checked and cc'd them and tells me they look excellent and far better than most that come into his shop. They take 2.08 x 1.60 x 11/32" with uniform 65 cc chambers. I'm going to use the Comp SS roller rockers, PAC behive springs and small diameter Comp retainers to keep the rockers away from the springs. Other details include a K 1 4.125 forged crank, Callies 6.125 rods, DSS custom forged pistons, Hughes girdle, Billet 2 bolt caps. The block is a 1972 360 bored .030. Comp Hydraulic roller with Comp lifters. The block has all of Steve's (Guitar Jones) oiling mods and is aligned, decked and paralleled. Should be on the dyno in 30 days and I'll post the sheets then.

Manufacturer of your cylinder heads? Also why are they missing almost half of the guide length? J.Rob

Speedmaster forgings. The guides shown were not within spec when checked and are being replaced. The CNC porting for the most part was very good but will need some touchup in a few places. I posted the picture showing the parting line. The heads were purchased ported bare as no one recommended their valves, springs etc.

I hope your guides look something like this when you are done. I'll take valve stability over a bit of flow any day. J.Rob

Just bought the same heads for my 408......what cam are you using?

michael
Comp Thumper Hydraulic. Don't have the specs with me but it's large. A friend has a 408 with the same cam and it runs great.
