What do I think? I think hells yes! What engine's in it (170, iron 225, aluminum 225)? Check carefully under the driver's seat for the missing Neutral pushbutton. See here for parts sources, also see here and here. What're your plans for it?

If you can't find the Neutral Button...try www.wildcatmopars.com
they pulled one for me & then I found mine! Maybe they still have it.

BTW...Luv it!

thanks for the comments and the part sources I planning on getting it running then going back to as close to orginal as possible. I do need the one push button and the speaker cover which Bea if you have a spare I'd buy it from you. Thank you slantsixdan for the links I will be checking those out real soon. The only two items I really need now are the trim piece that goes around the fin in back on the driver side I cannot find it and the passinger side is cracked, ane the back bumper is shot.
This was a one owner car and the gentleman passed away and his son was going to crush her so I picked her up he is sending me the orginal owners manual and his father kept a service book and other items of this car to enclude a photo album of the which I think will be cool to have.

Nice find. I love these old wagons !
I particularly think that you should keep the green astroturf carpet ! Adds great character and will wear well.

Have fun with it !

Yea I was thinking the same thing :)

Congratulations 38 Dodge :thumleft::thumleft:
The wagon looks REAL good and all there for it's age, So glad you saved it from the crusher :happy2:
But a magnet on the block and see if it's the aluminum /6 :thumleft:

It not the orginal it is a cast block I wish it was aluminum the owners son told me his dad had the motor changed years ago.

Cool ride, sure could get a lot of fishing poles in that 1.
parts show up from time -to- time, I have seen the rear eyebrows flipped so the car has 2 rh side pieces, most of the time these are split or broke just like yours.
keep us posted on the progress, Lawrewnce

Love it. Looks quite solid overall and the style of that interior/ dash is classic in my book. Man, I bet that car has some stories to tell, 2nd motor, trailer hitch, one owner all that time...

How many miles on it?

Look what Ive got.

tiltsix,
I just sent you an PM but I also might need some brake parts if I cannot find what I need locally. Can you get me a picture of the interior and the back?
Thanks

1962, I always wanted to find a car in my birth year! Looking at that wagon I knew it came from the south before I even saw the Texas tags and UT window decal. Nice find!

All the trim is there, seems pretty rust free, although the rear bumper is gonna need some love.:love9: Ya did good!

Ol Dan don't miss a trick, does he???

Here is some up dated pictures of the wagon with the motor and tranny out and pictures of the floor with the carpet taken out not too bad just a little work needed in the drivers floor and I need to try and find the emergency brake cover plate and weather seal.
Here is the floor pictures
