My first air plane ride was unbelievable, to feel such a large thing have that much thrust surprised me :glasses7: then the smooth ride to Minnesota gave me time to reflect what it's going to be like to finely meet FISHYPETE and 66340SEDAN :)
Taking this trip was good for me all my family said, and taking on such a big adventure in my life I will never ever forget :glasses7:
Just me and my carry on shooting threw the sky at 600 miles an hour at 3,300 feet was breath taking folks :color:

As I landed I see two friends I have never met and let me tell yea  I now have two great friends that let me in there life for 6 days :color:
Thank you Pete and Keith, you have many great friends and family around you and I sure enjoyed meeting everyone of them

Just a start of my fun time with these two great men :color:

Wow !!

Not common to hear about first plane rides these days. At least not from people over 20. Oh and you were cruising at 33,000 ft. And yes the thrust is amazing in some models. Maybe in the future you can take a flight on the new Boeing 787 Check out this video. Of course a normal flight would not take off like this. Talk about thrust !!!

Well we arrived at Keiths beautiful home, and Pete drove on to his house the first night but not before a few Bud lites (bottle) and a couple of hours of story telling in 66340SEDAN's garage :glasses7: WOW !! I thought I was in a museum as I seen his collection of old MoPar history :color: and got to see his three cool ride's :) but we all know the one that I had to see in person :color:

We stretched our legs and got some fresh air, I think keith knew I needed to walk a bit
Keith and I talked :coffee2: and I must say he is an intelligent young man :glasses7: and a super dad to his children :color::color: I sure enjoyed meeting his sweet 8 year old daughter, when she gave me a hug I nearly shed a happy tier :color: made me feel special and at home Keith .

Looks like an amazing trip man.

I packed up my bags and headed to Colorado by myself for a week. I made a ton of new friends and wouldn't change it for the world.

Glad you were able to make the trip. It is always nice to put a face to people you talk to online or the phone. Maybe you can come South sometime. Not many Mopar people around here though. I have always been and that is all I own. Sounds like you made lifetime memories! Joe

Wow Mike, this is awesome. This is just what I needed to read on a Friday night. I am so happy for you and to know that you are having a great time.

Don't forget to remind Keith that summer is almost here and he needs to post a new burnout video.... :burnout:

Whenever I see the pilot on the jetway, I always ask, "Is this your time flying, too?" :-)

Glad you had a great adventure and a good first flight!

I have a lot to comment and add to this thread...but for now, all I will post in a very cool pic I took.....Mike needed some shades while at the show....he disappeared for awhile and showed back up wearing these shades....I told him "hold still" and took this pic.....I think its super cool and its a favorite of mine :glasses7:

MeMike, this had to be beneficial to all in part. Thanks for the thread, & you have more FABO memories. Kudos ,to all three of you....

You need to airbrush that great image on the hippy van! LOL Great thread.

As I wake this morning I am reminded of the day we spent at Pete's beautiful home out in the country, We enjoyed rum and a bon fire, what a great evening, Pete wrangled a tiger he had in his big 4X4 3/4 tun dodge and fought with it :D he is so much fun :color: What a great friend I have that is able to act like a kid and make folks laugh :color:
As the clock turned to the midnight hour it was time to get some rest for another big day, Pete gave me a very nice room facing north :color: as I woke the next morning this was my view of the beautiful sun rise :color:
This was the beginning of a new day :)
