My Best friend's Mark's 67 Barracuda

-
First update in quite a while, between my wife's passing and several health issues.I was really slow down. The good news is slowly i've regained my health. Today i'm outside putting the wipers back in, thanks to FABO, There plenty of information there for getting everything back together. Additionally I was able in very limited spurts over the windsor to rehab the dashboard so so very excited to get that back in. Also chipped away at the heater box.And that's all rebuilt so very excited to have a working dash.

Our condolences on the loss of your wife. Strength and positive thoughts as you move fwd with the fish. Redoing the dash was a big moment for me, you will be glad you did.
Be well

Yes, sorry for your loss. I lost a son 24 years ago, not quite the same, but still... Projects give us something to live for when something integral to our lives is lost. I hope this car keeps you going for another couple of decades. Enjoying the ride from the back seat!

Yes, I too, sorry for your loss.
All I know is that we must all continue to dream, if we stop dreaming we simply stop living. Life needs to always find a purpose.

Thank you, The loss of your son is just too much for anyone to bear. I can't imagine your pain. I got a lot of reasons to keep this project going, so looking forward to driving her.

Our first test drive after thousands of dollars and 2 years of hard work, we nearly get side swiped 1/2 a block from our house by a seniors transport buss. We have video of the drive. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1AcbaSVHkK/
I had a 71 Cuda back about late 1990s. Needed nothing. Lived out in the Mo. sticks, I would take it for a run down the blacktop, I could meet 3 cars and all 3 would venture over the center line gawking at the darn car! Off to the should OI would go! Last really high end car I owned or wanted to own!

I haven't post updates for quite a while, but the work was over the past few months was getting done slow and sometimes even steady.

We reupholstered the seats at the time the temps were cold but with the help of a steamer we were able to ultimately work the wrinkles out.

Even more cave and pave work to be removed! Only to reveal what was left of the trunk extension.
