My car in Purple...

I've seen this car before at E-Town and have spoken with the owner several times. Nice guy named joe owns this `68. It has a strange mix of a 318 block, 360 crank, and Chevy rods making it a 345CI screamer. He claims 270 HP at the wheels, which is nice for a street car. He has the 6 Bbl. totally dialed in and it runs great! These wheels are the same as the ones I just bought.

And this is his fathers car.

Don't feel bad John, I don't know what my dad drove when he was not in a company car. The wheels are going to look great.

Ha...yea, my Dad drove Tractors, and old pickup trucks. BUT, the awesome thing is that we are now in a position to build up those fun cars. He is building a 65 Belvedere with a stroked 440, and I have my 64 Dart GT and my 66 Dart 270. The 64 is getting a stroked 360 and a mini-tub job (I need to try to hang with Pop on the cruise nights... )

This is even a better hobby being able to build memories with my Dad in the process.

My dad took me for a ride at 10 years old in a 440 4 speed 69 roadrunner that totally changed my life, I once had a heart for 55 chevy's but after that day my heart belonged to mopar.........Thanks, Dad, Rest easy.
