I have a 1980 Chrysler regal special edition undergoing a restoration. Car was parked since 1995 and has 77 thousand klms on it (48000 mls) I am in the process of putting the motor and trans back in it. Engine is brazillian 318, appears that these have much thicker castings.
Block bored .030 over with kb pistons summit 204/214 cam in it with 1.6 roller rockers, edelbrock alloy heads with home porting, 2.05 inlet valves, weihand dual plane manifold with edelbrock avs2 650 carb and exctractors into 2.5 inch dual system with 727 auto with shift kit installed. I have a 1974 charger with 410 stroker in it and most of these parts are left overs from my upgrades over the years.

It still amazes me what Chrysler Austalia did with the A body platform. Your Chrysler Regal looks like a big American C body sedan. I love looking at stuff like this. I see 1969 up B body power window switches, and what look like 1980s American B series van inner door pulls. Just really neat variations of the A body platform. Thanks for sharing.

Nice looking 318 James! Your Chrysler Regal looks like it may be the Aussie version of an American Chrysler 5th Avenue. Post a pic of the k frame, so we can see what a right hand drive K frame looks like in FMJ body Australian cars. :)
