If you are reading this and you happen to have heard of Dustin Foley on this website, he is my father. I recently found his account on this website and so I decided to make an account of my own. My father recently passed away, on February 26th. If you happen to have known my father, he had a 1973 dodge dart sport. Me and him a while back agreed on that car being mine for when im older. After he passed, I got the dart sport. I truly never believed I would be getting the car so soon. I would like all the help I can get on that car and I believe this website will help me out. If you have read this and you knew my father, thank you.

I didn't know your father. Sorry for your loss so early in your life.
I'm 67 and still think of my father when I use one of his tools. I'm sure that car will bring many memories of your father.

Welcome and my condolences on the loss of your dad. Ask away as most here will be happy to help. Dad would be proud of you.

Sorry for your loss. Welcome to the site. You came to the right place for help which you will receive. Again so sorry for you and family for the loss of a loved one. Wish you the best with your car and endeavors.

I didn't know your father, but my sincere condolences on his passing.

On the other hand, welcome to FABO, where you'll find all sorts of friendly and knowledgeable (aka "fatherly") experience advice! Now, some of the advice will seem to come from smart asses, some of it will come from dumb asses, and some will come from PITA's, but if you ever start to despair, just remember that all of it will be well intentioned and in your best interest, so feel free to pull up a keyboard and join in!

Also, when you have the time and/or feel ready, maybe post a little bit of information about yourself (nothing personal, just your skills and abilities) and your ideas and aspirations for the car so we can help you when the time comes.

Jim

Condolences on the loss of your father.
I didn't know him, but I more than likely have read some of his posts here.
Welcome to FABO, one of the best, if not the best automobile forum on the internet. As others have mentioned, there is a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience here, feel free to post any questions you have, we all knew nothing before we learned by either asking someone, or by trial and error.

Sorry about the loss of your father. Welcome to FABO. There are literally hundreds of years of cumulative experience on this site so don't be hesitant in asking for information.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your Dad. My Dad died when I was 15....I'm 67 now, so I get how it feels. Somehow, I made it through, and you can too. Your Dad left you what looks like a great start to a nice Mopar. Best advice I can give is to consider it a toy and have a bone stock driver type vehicle to depend on. Work on it as you can afford it and ask all of the questions you need to.

I’m sorry to hear that you became a mopar owner from your father’s passing but welcome to our A body family. I’m sure you’ll make many memories with that car and that will make your father proud.

So sorry for your loss and welcome aboard. Happy to help with advice, if an when I ever can. Cherish that car!

As you know, losing your Dad is one of the worst times of your life. I'm very sorry for your loss.
When you grow older, you'll find things that will reconnect him to you and will help to always keep his memory fresh. Having his Dart Sport can do that for the rest of your life.
