I got a call from an old friend I seen at the car show about two weeks ago
here in town. You remember the old 1926 Hudson car.
Here is his picture from the car show.

An old friend came to the hill and we had a great visit today and invited me to go to a fund raiser for a small town here called Raven Den Ar.

It will be just a small get together but I bet it will be a fun one.
Its always great to see old friends you have not seen for years and then fall right in and have a good time enjoying our cars together.:thumleft::happy2:

This might sound silly but I am excited about taking Victoria on her first
cruse, even though she is not painted and dun and looking like I would want her too.

I will continue this post with pictures of the day tomorrow.

The first picture is the fist time to see a great friend that I have not seen in 7 years, He has not changed a bit. :-D

The last picture is him up on the hill in that very cool 1927 Hudson =P~
sorry it was getting dark .

That is one cool car brother~! He's done his just like I'd do mine for the most part. The only thing I'd change is black wheels with the baby moons.

Dash would be a bit different too. Oh yeah, I'd paint it too but I can't say **** until the RC is painted. lol!

He let me drive it today and it feels like a IMCA car, rack steering a/c
V8 and at 2.200 lbs it has an incredible 60' time.
He matted it and away we went. Jeeeees it felt so good.
He has only just started on it and is under construction.
He has a his 58 Ranchero he did int and dash and black and white paint it is complete and is a show winner.

It sure feels good to be involved with some old gear heads again.
Victoria has made this possible for me to get out again.

My best friend in our younger years had a '58 Ranchero with a 292 and 3 on the floor. We used to blast the country roads from northern illinois to wisconsin 'cause the drinking age was 18 there and 21 in wisconsin. It's amazing we're both alive. :)

That's cool memike... I think you will have a blast showing off Victoria.. I can still remember my first cruz in the Dart and that was 13 years ago.
