I have one of those. Couldn't see the cement pole that I didn't know was there in the mirrors one day backing into a spot.

No kidding. Our streets here in Topeka are so bad they are an embarrassment. Their idea of fixing a street is to scrape about 2" of the old cracked and potted asphalt and replacing it with another two inches of fresh asphalt. Within about 6 months, the cracks that went deeper than 2" (most of them) start appearing again, and within less than two years, the road is as bad as it was before.
