It was an Offy intake manifold... Fortunately she didn't know I washed it, and just thought I did the dishes! True story.

In my case it was a 5 speed manual from a little import we had

And it wasn't the dishwasher, I took it with me in the shower

Good lord! If this isn't a joke (or Photoshop), it means some boat manufacturer "farmed-out" (or "outsourced") their Warning Labels to (name your favorite Asian country here).

Guy I knew was evicted from the house he was renting when his landlord showed up to do some repairs while he was at work. Landlord found a substantial amount of a SBC in the bath tub soaking in solvent Really complicated his moving out since his '55 Chebbie was in the garage without it's motor
