This is oh-so-true and should be part of the curriculum for first time husband-to-be classes. My wife saw me do the laundry one time (shove it all in the hole, add soap, done!) and said never again. I should have done the same with vacuuming but I wasn't smart enough back then.

I guess my Wife is to easy going. She let's me do my own wash, vacuum how I want and even clean the bathroom! Only washing dishes has she commented on. Simple answer, I do them when she's not around. And since I'm so thoughtful, I let her cut the front yard any way she wants.

The first (and almost only) time I was asked to vacuum, the little lady had a hissy fit when I dragged my ShopVac into the house and started cleaning the living room... scared her cats into the basement for 2 days.
