Now that I totally clogged up our beloved message board, I'll finish off with a few different subjects:
A chopped `64 Inperial painted black over Pacific blue w/ billet wheels.
My take on the Chrysler Atlantic concept car done as a convertible. The wheels are from a 1/18 die cast that fit perfectly!
A pair of thumper-style cars. On the left is a European Mercedes A class and on the right is a VW Golf.
Here's a VW panel van done up in Cal Look style riding on billet wheels again.
And finally, how can you not grin looking at a customized BMW Isetta street rod? This one turned up in a Swedish Hot Rod magazine that covered a model show state-side in New Jersey years ago! I found out through a friend of a friend type of situation via the internet. I should dig out the magazine and have someone translate it for me.
I hope everyone enjoyed my little presentation. And before the questions start, NO, I don't do replicas for pay. As much as I'd like to do replicas of everyones cars for them, I just don't have the time, or dedicated work space, to pull it off. Right now everything is being packed up and when I finally get settled in the new house (hopefully next spring/summer) I can start building again. But building on consignment is very time consuming and difficult to accomplish.
