Found the original window sticker with VIN NO. LM-29-1-18-26C474 I am going to see if it is still around. DMV closed today have to try Monday.

You may have a hard time doing it. Your first 1 should be a letter and the 8 is a B. The last 6 digits should be all numbers and no letters.

In Cali , the DMV's v.i.n. check doesn't recognise the pre-1981 v.i.n.'s ( e.g. , the 17-digit v.i.n.'s ) ; I'm not sure how other states v.i.n. checks work ...
