so today me and my roomate went and got my scamp and brought it to my house. it was sitting at a shop in denver. i will be working more on it now so figured i would put it all together. the transmission is stuck in 3rd??? i am thinking maby rebuild the tranny and readjust the shifter. that should take care of that. also the power steering is leaking like a siv so i might convert it to manual steering or fix the leak. either way i need a new column for my 4 speed lol. its odd having 2 shifters and driving around in park lol. i will also need to do some kinda clutch safety switch to pass tech at the strip. i am thinking a button on the dash?? would that pass lol? then all i gotta do is rebuild the front end. run good exhaust and work with the rear end. its the 8 1/4 and i am supposedly putting 450 horse at the flywheel so i dont think its gonna last to long with the 4speed. it also sags to much for me so maby ss springs
so if anyone has parts it sounds like i could use let me know. i know for sure i need a manual shift column and will probably go power steering. o i also want to rig the amp guage to not catch fire and make it read volts so if someone could tell me how to that again that would be helpfull thanks tyler
