Well I had a load to headed for Palm City,FL this past friday. After I got unloaded on Saturday I buzzed up towards Bushnell to pick a used dually bed to replace the one thats falling apart on my '95 dually. After that was on to "Big Daddy" Don Garlitts Drag Racing Museum to check his place out. It was pretty cool to see all the dragsters and even the old cars either he purchased or people donated. After I was done at his museum at 11:30 sunday morning,I hopped in the truck and rolled straight home and pulled in my driveway at 3:30 monday morning. Got plenty of pics so sit back and enjoy.

On a side note when I was heading home,I saw a '70-'72 Yellow Duster for sale along Rt.301 just north of Stark,FL. Didn't stop but it was bugging me for a while that I didn't and still wished I did. I don't know it it was a members car or not.

Too bad the museum doesn't have better lighting. Some of my pics didn't come out as good, even with the flash on.

It was hard to get nice pics since they had signs in front of the cars or they were crammed right beside each other so you couldn't get good side pics either.

Super! You just saved me a trip! LOL Thanks for the pictures.... how cool was, is, the Blue Max......

There is so much history in that museum. Thanks for the pix. I try to visit it whenever I'm in the area, especially the car shows. When I visited the museum last a couple of years ago, we heard a race engine firing up. Ran over and saw Don and some mechanics prepping one of his old rails outside the shop for some exhibition runs at tracks around the country. Pretty cool.

Thanks for sharing.Love those old dragsters, and funny cars-brings me back to my childhood.

Thanks for sharing, some very cool history. I probably will never get to see it as I'm located about as far away from Florida as you can get in the lower 48!

Yeah,I loved the Blue Maxx always did when Raymond Beadle drove it. Jungle Jim's car was sweet too,but too bad Pam wasn't around.

There was just sooo much neat stuff there.
But if I had to pick some of my favorites,it would be the air raid siren and the red Garlits Dodge/Massey Moters 1962 Max Wedge car=P~=P~.

Thanks for the pix !! I have a lifetime pass to the museum and I go there when I am in the area.
I see that the Candies and Hughes funny car is still there. I used to street race with Mark Oswald back in the day.
