Wow! There were some nice cars!! Was hopin to make it down there for that but my parents were gone for the weekend so my wife n I had to run their chicken house over the weekend so I couldn't make it.
 
I hear ya, I can't do anything unless I have one of my kids stay home to take care of the animals...lol

Picked up a glovebox door cheap off evilbay. A lil paint n epoxy and good enough.

Picked up a set of Cal custom valve covers from whitepunkonnitro. Slowly collecting my parts. The one on the right I just sprayed with some degreaser cleaned up pretty good. A lil elbow grease and they'll look good.

awesome work and thanks for the pictures! I am debating on gauges I want to put in my car, they look nice. And the bucket seats is something I also want to do, but not sure how I want to go about it.

Still putting Engine compartment together, Battery tray ,Blower motor and cleaning up the wiring.

Well got to play with my girl this Fathers day weekend. Torqued down the Carb, exhaust manifolds, water pump and Alternator. Installed the fan, radiator, shroud and all hoses. I still need to button down the fuel supply, wiring, accelerator cable and Trans linkage.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you do anything to try and seat it in closer to the body?
 
Filled the rad. connected wires , fuel and cranked...and cranked. Light bulb!!!! unbolted Dizzy rotate 180 and vroooom it runs!!!
