My YouTube channel

-
I started a YouTube channel a few years ago documenting the build and racing of my Dart mostly. Here is the link.

The Power Shift
Good luck with that! Seriously, I wish you nothing but the best, and I hope it works out for you!

Looks like YouTube will be “breaking even” in the next few days, as I’m going to delete all of my YouTube content and cancel/delete my “channel” soon. Not for anything they (YouTube) has done, or not done, but rather I’m just really tired of everyone thinking my job is to fix their stuff for free.

Best of luck to you!

Mine is on my jukebox restoration, and I must get 3-4 “how do I fix this?” emails a week. At first I tried to be helpful, but there are only so many hours in a day. Then I started responding with, “Do you have a Manual?”, or “What does the Manual say about this?” (aka, RTFM), but people got real indignant, and started throwing their entitlement mentality at me. So lately I’ve just been ignoring them.

But that’s not the kind of man I want to be, so it’s either ignore people, or delete my channel.

And, yes. I’m thinking about just disabling comments, but I’ve done that in the past and people still find me.

To the OP;

My apologies for the negativity, and the (somewhat) high jacking of your thread. Please believe me that was not my intent, and I sincerely wish you the best with your channel.

Jim

I just subscribed. HOwever, the only thing wrong is I see you haven't uploaded a video in almost a year!!! :poke:
Thank you! I have not received one email from anyone. It has been hard to maintain a pace. I was putting out a video every week for about 6 months then it was once a month. And then life hit me hard and I haven’t posted in a year. I have probably 15 videos worth of content filmed and need editing. This year I am going to get back after it. YouTube for me is a creation expression with no expectation of being popular, its more for me as a creative outlet and to share with those that care. I don't post here much because of unkind people and my threads usually have zero following. So I thought if I posted here you guys that are curious can see what I have been up to. I do miss interacting with certain people here.
