I started one and found it easy to get to 600 subscribers BUT difficult to do a video every week, which is a jet item to do to obtain the viewership and keep your videos and channel in the forefront.
If you can stack videos in a bank, this will be helpful when the weather or life’s wonderful unsuitable moments leave you devoid of material for a video.
Do this more for fun and forget the target goal. The goal will come.
Don’t worry about having great editing skills. Just keep chugging forward on video making. Some of the best videos (via views) are just simple candid and relaxed talking along with showing what you’re doing. Some tech and explanation of what ever your doing and working with.
Look into the cameras eye, talk to the camera like your in a video call with a friend and explain things like your talking to a new fella to the hobby that may not know a thing about what your doing and they need to know how to do what your doing because they have the same issue.
As time goes on, your videos will get better and better. Editing is more of a PIA than anything.
I was give a “Notable” mention to the NNN on YT.
I had a nice email convo with the organizer but had to drop out.

I’m saying this because I was new to YT and had only a few subscribers. But I was getting noticed in short order.
Let that be of some inspiration to you.
(It’s been 9 months plus since I made a video and have of course stalled on subscribers. So my apologies to those that have subscribed. I’ll be back in the horse later.

Totally agree, and yes, I do understand and may have started on the wrong foot, but like I sometimes say, Just do something!! Even if it's wrong and learn from it.

Thanks for understanding, cause im not trying to be rude. It is seemingly easy to get views but much harder to get people to sign in and subscribe.
Thats the biggest issue I found early on... was that 80% of the views were from non signed in viewers.. so 13k views on one video but say only 8% of them sign in and subscribe.
If people supported more and it paid out.. then the future vids would be funded and get a whole lot better.
Everyone steals ideas too.. watch for that. Tony stole and built on the 302 topic and used servedio, vizard and another as tools. The bigger channels are always scoping out the latest and greatest on other channels to figure out their next clickbait video.
Yep, not sure but I do know my sons had many followers on there dirt car builds, they build there own chassis Creeds Customs, for of his chassis made the top 3 in 2019, 2022 and 2024.. he raced the big race down in Florida last year and his chassis was rocking it against the big co.
Work in progress as you totally know and wow! About uncle Tony, not surprising! But new information. We will get better and make more interesting and fun personal stories and video.. heck I haven't tried my hand at one yet, @rumblefish360 does a great job, well thought out and informative
