I ask DMT (Detroit Muscle Tech) but they never provide an answer. Anybody know? This were included in some gaskets for a '65 Barracuda Formula S. Thank you.

I don't remember how many moldings are placed above the windows. I know one that has teeth that grab the headliner. There may be one or two more than are attached after and on top of that one.

Both above posts are correct.. use the both side sticky scotch tape, tape car first. Then press the foam gasket into place. Then install your chrome with screws, trim gasket if desired.....

Well on a mustang it would go between.....

What are you working on?
Hard top, convertible, post, 4 door?

I have had no trouble getting DTM by email.
On my 67 dart convertible some strips like that came and we're for between stainless / chrome moldings and the body.

I think I'm agreeing with post #2. There is a stainless molding that holds the rubber gasket the the windows seat into when you roll them up. If you take the rubber gasket out, underneath are screws that hold it in place. This foam seals between the stainless molding and the body itself. The original stuff was gray?
