I have the gauge cluster out of my 73 Duster, fixing up the windshield wiper linkage and found some wires. Three different ones with connections on the ends.

One has three plugins on it, with the wires running to it being: 1 green, 1 brown, 1 red w/white stripe, and 1 black w/white stripe. The other one has two plugins on it and the four wires on it are: 2 orange, 1 tan/cream, and a red w/whitestripe. The last one has two plugins with 2 orange and 2 yellow running to it.

I can't find anywhere under the dash where they might plug in, and couldn't tell of anything not working when I first got the car other than the dashlights.

I took some pictures, but their not that great. ... http://imgur.com/a/EFhO0

Thanks for any help.

Here, download yersef a shop manual. There are some on here who think this has been 'beaten to death.'

Now the 73 shop manual was a huge change for A bodies in the way the wiring diagrams were printed. Wiring for "A" starts page 8-152 Notice the "Contents" "CI" means "connectors instrument" that is connectors in the instrument panel harness. Go to page 8-167 and find a 3 terminal connector that looks like the one in your hand, with the right colors

I'm not sure. Don't see one right off that matches, maybe the heater blower motor switch? Bottom right of page 8-170, connector CI-41.

Now, to see this in the diagram, go back to the wiring index, find "Heater blower switch" on page 8-153, and it shows "map coordinates" A34. So now just browse down through the diagrams, looking at top and sides of pages for "A" and "34" and you end up on............page 8-162, top left corner, and there you see the blower switch wiring, and the reference to connector no. CI-41

I b'lieve this one is the AM radio connector top right corner of page 8-168, CI-13

This thing...........is bottom left corner of 8-168, connector CI-8, "ignition lamp time delay relay connector." This turns off the key switch lamp after a delay
