1964 Valiant V200
This was about 9am. For the locals I was at the intersection of Route 6 and Allen Road. The picture does not do this one justice. This was much darker than pictured. It dropped a TON of rain in a very short time and there was lots of bolts of lightning. As fast as it was there it was gone. By the time I got 7 miles away, (Airport Road and I-474 it was sunny. By 2:00pm I was in Bloomington-Normal making my last delivery and there were more storms like this skirting I-55 all the way up to Gardner Illinois. One crazy afternoon!!
