I need a useable steering wheel for my 65 Valiant 4 door. It has the chrom rim blow horn. My interior code is H1T which says Tan, but the body paint code is XX1Y which says Light Tan with Gold Accent. The dash and top of door panels looked more gold than tan. I can't really tell anymore what the original steering wheel looked like. So I'm going for either a gold or tan steering wheel that's useable with the rim blow horn. Just one I can use as a driver, this is just going to be a decent backup car. But the original one is so cracked it will probably eventually cut your hands trying to use it! I also need a pair of useable kick panels so I can have an interior shop remake them. I have one but don't remember if it's the driver's or passenger side. The car is at another location. The color is like a shiny gold, almost a chrome kinda film. But just any kick panels I can use to get remade.

Chrysler didn't make a rim blow wheel that early. The correct one for your car would depend on your trim line. Color coded wheels could come with just a center horn button, a 1/3 chrome horn ring and a full chrome horn ring. There was also a simulated wood grain sport wheel that year. Color coded wheels that year are almost impossible to fine without any cracks these days unless it's one that has been restored. They make kits to fill in the cracks but I'm not sure how well they work. I usually just stick a wrap over the rim and call it a day.
