Need A Little Picture Help Guys

While digging through my garage the other day, I think I came across some door & side glass from our old 68 notchback Barracuda. What's the easiest and best way to take a picture of these so they turn out decent to post here with my digital camera? There are about 6 pieces and they are not doing me any good sitting in my garage

Lay a lightly colored sheet or a blanket on a table indoors, then place the glass on that to snap the pics.

Use the flash when you take the pics. You should be able to see the condition of the glass with the background all one color. The flash will iluminate any imperfections.
