I'm working on a 66 Barracuda. So far I've rebuilt the front end ,poly graphite bushings, every thing changed ,a good front alinement, put in a flaming river coulper.and I'm still not happy with the play in the front end.Have heard about a couple of after market stearing box's but not sure what on is the best. I hear that Firm Feel II leaks a lot. What other ones are there for us to use .any imput would be of great help my daughter has to be driving this to school in a few weeks. Cole's 66 dad. Don

There is a member here that had one that leaked and had a hard time getting satisfaction from Firm Feel. This is the only incidence of leaking I have heard of, everyone else that has made a comment about their boxes has made positive comments.

FWIW, I just used a stock rebuilt box from the local parts store and had the alignment shop crank in as much caster as they could. This has given me light but very acceptable steering feel.

I have a steer and gear stg1 and really like it. The return on the core is postage paid by them, I might add, which is kinda nice!

Thanks for the info guys .Local parts store has one for $118 ,60 buck core
Firm Feel II $299 plus $175 core and Stear and Gear $245 and $75 core.Man If was easy every one would drive Cool Old Cars!!! lol
