Was told a heavy duty, 4 planetary gear trans from maybe a 3/4 ton van .
Any info is appreciated. Get this ready for Garlits swap meet.

The pictured transmission number, 3640802, is an A727-A with long extension for the following applications:
- 1972 D100 or D200 pickup truck, except Crew Cab, with 318 or 360 engine after serial number 2S558402.
- 1972 M300, Motor Home, with 318 engine, with 104" or 125" wheelbase.

Assembled on Monday, April 24, 1972 as the 3623rd unit that day. 3640802 is the production number and the service number.

I doubt it has anything HD insode, and probably 3 pinion planets.
