Need direction on budget slant six build

Here's the rundown, the 17o slant in my 63 valiant is shot. I'm pulling a 67 225 from a junkyard in the morning. While I'm there I plan on pulling a head from a 74 for the improved chamber and hardend valve seats. I will have the head milled to get 9 to 1 compression. I will be using the stock exhaust manifold. and probably the stock intake/carb. Unless I can find a cheap 2/4 barrel. While I have the engine out I plan on replacing the timing chain. If I wanted to replace the cam while I was already into it what would a good cam be for this combo. Something streetable but stronger than stock. If I wanted to go hydraulic what all would I need?

I would go with the RV-15/295 RDP from Erson. To run this cam, you need new lifters (any cam change), but if your stock valve train is in good condition, that is all you need. To convert to hydraulic lifters, you need a hydraulic cam, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, and shaft.
