I have a manual steering box, and pulled out the power steering box. I was trying to get the interface piece off of the power steering box to put on the manual box. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Also will the stock steering column work with this? its a 72 Plymouth Scamp. Automatic Column shift car, but we pulled all the shift mechanisms off and run a B&M floor shifter.

Thanks

I think your talking about the coupler? There is a roll pin you need to knock out before you can remove it. And no the same column will not work. They are different lengths. The Manual shaft is longer.

the manual steering column shaft is 3 inches longer due to the steering box being 3 inches shorter...

and the spline on the manual and power steering boxes are different....

Flaming River makes an adapter....it aint cheap

We got hold of the right coupler for the manual steering box and will get it installed. Thanks for the help/
