well the color of the stripes cause i am thinking to restore mine and i cant find the right color of the stripes and one more q?
is better use the vinyl stripes or paint them

Stripes are usually coded starting with a "V", like V8X.

Nope. As crackedback said, stripes would be either V6* (longitudinal), V7* (accent), or V8* (transverse), where * is the color. V8X, for example, would be a black transverse stripe. Why are you so worried about the stripe code?

If it has a stripe, my guess, most likely it will be the up and over stripe. V9?

Click the links I posted, it has the up and over stripe in it

The car DOES NOT have any hood treatment based upon the tag info.

V8W goes on the tail panel it's white as designated by the "W"
