I am working on setting up my air compressor and want to use the same air chuck/quick disconnect fittings that my Dad uses. That way if I need to borrow his tools or if He wants to borrow mine... there will be no un-nessecary headaches.
Now, I have always assumed that what He used was a High Flow version of the industrial fittings that every one elses uses. But, I am having trouble finding them new.
I know that He used to do automated welder repair and worked with hydraulics on a daily bassis. Is it possible that these are actually hydraulic fittings? Has anyone seen an air fitting like this before?
I have attached a couple pics, The fitting that I am looking for is the shorter one on the right. The taller one on the left is the standard air fitting that I have always seen.
Has anyone ever used an air fitting like this?
