Hope someone out there with access to a '74 Duster service manual can help. I'm working on my '74 Space Duster's engine bay trying to clean up and eliminate unneeded wiring. I suspect this may be a California spec car but am not sure. There are three components mounted on the drivers inner fender that I have not run across before (red arrows) and need help identifying. I would like to eliminate all three but haven't a clue to their function. The middle one is some sort of vacume activated switch (off the manifold) which is wired to what looks like a relay which is then connected to the starter relay. The far right switch's wiring disappears into the firewall harness and then ???? Thanks in advance...

Battleground, eh? Have a friend, now in Alaska used to live there.

Amateur Radio op named Alan "Marty" Martin. Used to be a bricklayer before age, carpel tunnel, got in the way.

I can't remember what that's called, it was an option, "mileage minder" or some crap. All this is, a vacuum switch which turns on the left front fender turn indicator when the vacuum drops, the idea being that if you "keep the light off" your mileage stays higher.

EDIT "Fuel Pacer", here:

The relay with the reset button is the horrid seatbelt interlock. You would do well to bypass it. You should have two "yellowish" (yellow, yellow with tracer, etc) one of which goes to the starter relay. You should be able to jumper those yellows together and do away with the rest.

Wow talk about a quick response, thanks 67. I'll have all that crap removed by noon. Moved down from Tacoma area right at two years ago. Really like the area but miss by car buddies bad. FABO's filling that need pretty well though.

We have a small group of Mopar fanatic's in the area, some of which also live in Battle Ground Vancouver. We are going to the Graham Mopar swap/show this Sunday. If not, I normally do shows every weekend, checkout http://www.pdxcarculture.com/
The whole car scene here is pretty good and the people are very friendly.
