Need help with my 71 Demon.

My 71 Demon started out as ac car.
I am trying to put non ac heater box in it.
It fits but the heater motor does not line up.
Do i need to use an ac blower motor to fit the firewall?

I understand that AC cars had a different firewall, so the blower motor and heater core tubes may not line up with the holes in your firewall. I would just keep the AC box and take out the evaporator if you want to save weight.
