Need info on 318 build!

Alright,I ended up needing cash and sold all my 360 stuff except for edelbrock 60779 heads,airgap intake and all my carbs!But now all i have left is 318 blocks!I was gonna stroke a 318 to 390 but my funds are limited!So I want to see if this build will work for 83 d150!
70' 318 bored 40 over with kb167 pistons,reworked rods and stock crank!Heads is edelbrock rpm heads and airgap intake,650 holley dp,mp heavy duty rockers,XE268 cam with 477/480 lift!2400 stall with 727,8.25 rear with 3.91 gear!Compression will be almost 10.1!My question is is the edelbrock heads i got too big or should i get rid of them and get jheads?Any help is appreciated!Thanks

Build it with the Edelbrock heads.

Ok,I know i have asked everybody here alot but I went alittle too far with what i wanted and that was a mild sb,and bought all this expensive parts and so I am trying to straighten everything back out!The 318 is going to Hensley Performance in Knoxville TN for the block work and I want to go back with hydraulic cam!I am gonna call Ken at shop in the morning and tell him just stock stroke instead of 4in stroke but he knows i have edelbrock heads,I just wanted to make sure i aint making wrong decision on this one!

Ok,I talked to Ken Hensley today and my cam is gonna be Lunati Voodoo 60403 cam with everything else i said i was gonna use but told him i would be there the 30th and it is either gonna be 318 or 318/390!Figure it out then!But now i have to figure out if the 8.25 rear will hold up or put 9.25 in and what gear to run!What you all think!

Ok went to pay off block work,and time we talked bout price there was on $500 difference between 318 and 390 stroker so i paid for 4in crank and block work!Here is the setup!
1.4.00 MP cast crank
2.Eagle SIR rods
3.KB forged pistons
4.Eddy airgap
5.Stage 1 port job and valve job on Performer RPM heads
6.9.8 to 1 compression
7.Comp XE274 cam with mp heavy duty stamped rocker arms
8.750 holley 4779 carb
9.727 with shift kit and 2500 stall and 8.75 742 case with 3.91 gears and suregrip!How do you guys think this run in 83 d150 with 28in tall tire!
