Need more info on removing torsion bar?

Yup, everything standard. The pivot pin nuts are torqued to 145 ft/lbs if they're stock, so, you'll need a 1/2" drive with a long handle, breaker bar, or impact.
 
put a breaker bar on it and eat your Wheaties....it is a standard RH thread.

with the correct size socket....you can't hurt it.

Yeah the only issue is the bushings. Breaking loose that kind of torque can spin the pins in the bushings if they're worn. You can usually get an impact on them, that can work better than just progressively larger breakers because eventually the pin will just spin.
