Well I'm convinced that something isn't right....

Does anyone have all the motor brackets and mounts to bolt a 340 into a 1970 duster With a 318 crossmember.....

I have brackets and mounts but it won't let the Tranny far enough back to bolt off the crossmember...

I have the old style mount... With 2 bolts and 2 nuts...
Pancake style.....

Does anyone have the brackets and mounts I need.... I need them ASAP....

I tired of getting the wrong mounts myself and and bought these !

They are worth the money and alot less hassle

'67-72 A-Body V8 273/318 or 340/360 Replacement or Upgrade Kit

We've re-issued the hard-to-find brackets that are mandatory for V8 340/360 replacements or 273/318 to 340/360 upgrades, and we have equally hard-to-find 273/318 replacement brackets, too. (273/318 brackets & 340/360 brackets are not interchangeable.) Kits include powder-coated brackets, factory-style insulators & grade 8 bolts.
(see installation instructions and tech tips)

A67A (273/318) - $144 + $18 S&H

A67LA (340/360) - $144 + $18 S&H

A82L* (273/318 with Poly-Locs) - $264 + $20 S&H

*Poly-Locs on back order approx. 7-10 days

A83L* (340/360 for Poly-Locs) - $264 + $20 S&H

*Poly-Locs on back order approx. 7-10 days

If you have factory style 340/360 mounts, everything should line up. Did you bolt the mounts to the engine block in the right place? If they are on the wrong side of the cast engine block lugs then the trans mount will be off front/rear. I would check out a factory service manual and confirm they are correct before buying more mounts.

I have e body mounts.... In need of a set that will let me drop a 340 in a 1970 duster....
