Greetings,
I have a 76 dart with a 225/6 and a904 trans.It has a clifford 4bbl intake,edelbrock combo.My problem is of course the kickdown linkage.Do I need a part time kickdown or directly hooked to the carb for full time movement with the accelarator?I just installed the trans(rebuilt)and cannot get it to shift into third and stay there.Right now there is a linkage that moves with the accelerator.Do I need to make it operate after about half throttle.I cannot get this adjusted right no matter what I try.Lokar maybe?I'll even go to full manual shift if needed as this is my only car and I need it desperately.Thanking you in advance.........
