need some help from the west coast guys

I just got a wild hair to do something. This 73 Dart Sport we are building has the fold down rear seat. I was thinking of finding a surf board to stick in the back there. has any of you guys out on the west coast seen any cheap surf boards maybe from the old days laying around that could hook me up. don't know anything about them but thought it would be a great conversation piece at the car shows. There are several places in Santa Cruz that sell old used surf boards. Almost like a "play it again sports" type places. I'm sure if you do a google search you will be able to find it.

Try your local craigslist, as shipping a surfboard would be quite expensive....

well, you aren't going to believe this. I checked Cincinnati craigslist right here and found a guy within 5 miles of the house who has one for $100.00. my son is going to look at it on his way to work in the morning. he has a booth at a flea market that is on his way to work. do you think it was meant to be or what. it is 6 ft. tall.

no man, I am California Dreaming. this guy who is selling this had a Jacuzzi and he turned the jets on and surfed. I guess he got tired of that. we do strange things here in KY.

picked up the surf board this morning. might post some pics later of it. may even post some pic of me surfing in the neighbors pool today. its supposed to be kinda windy. You were right Frankenduster, it was an easy find. LOL

here is the surf board that is going in the back fold down seat of the Dart Sport. It is old and gonna leave it just like that. I think it will be a great conversation piece at the car shows.
