Need to know how to remove the glove box lock

Need to know how to take the lock off the glove box lid. I’m going to clean and repaint and I don’t want to tear it up.

Dave and I were sorting parts and he read this on his phone. I happened to have one in my hands. So we destroyed it to see. Then I remembered. You hook the tab with a pick and it comes right out. Pretty simple. Nice to have extra parts to destroy for a learning session. The one we took apart was keyless. After we were done with it the lock was useless LOL. It was a fun time

That is a great video. That is exactly what Dave and I figured out after we destroyed one. You can use one of those little picks that come in a set at Harbor freight. You were a little late with the video though. We already put one to its death. LOL
