[Found!] Need V8 904 Core or Case in So Cal or So Nevada

My boy broke the rear end in his 10 Second 360 Valiant
and destroyed the overriding clutch. It is pressed in not
bolted like 727. I would like to find one I can pick up in
So Cal or Nevada soon. He is qualified and entered in Div 7
Bracket Finals next week and l have built a new rear end and
installed it before we found trans was broke.

I will pickup and pay you for it if you have an extra one!

However = Ancient ball and trunnion early 60s junk.
Most everything is different inside.
Need 67 up.

He wiped out front pump assembly and
66 back are different splines as Ink I recall.

I have a 73 904 out of a barracuda with a converter you can have but I’m clear in Michigan.

I've got a really nice 904 out of my old '67 barracuda with a 273 commando, so it's probably got certain special parts (governor springs or?) . I converted the car to a 4-speed and this trans has less than 100K original miles on it, and I'm pretty sure it's never been opened up/rebuilt. It comes with the torque converter also. $250

I also have a 67 up 904 V8 trans you can have for free if needed.
I’m about 3.5 hours from Boulder city in AZ by Prescott.
Was loosing a planetary but still driving.

The sprag is pressed in the very tight.
I believe that it would need to be machined out of the case and
past me skill lever!

Iv't never used one, so I don't know. I just knew they were available. Why not give them a call and get the particulars, if nothing else works out for you.
