Needed a custom fan shroud, so I printed one.

They really moved the bar on price vs features. If I was in the market again I'd but a prusa core one.

If you keep the firmware under a certain version you can use orca slicer instead of Bambu slicer, and run it in lan mode. I have mine blocked in my firewall was well.
I started with a bed slinger IDEX but then bought a Magneto X because they fully backed Klipper and where Open Source.

You mention the Core One BUT they just announced the Core One L today. Prusa has said they will be doing an IDEX with the core one platform and that’s what will get me to buy another printer.

I didn't see the announcement, but I went and looked it up after your post. That's a lot of print volume (almost as much as the stratasys at work), and some good features. I don't want to get too far off topic, but an IDEX version of either the Core One or Core One L would make me think hard about buying another printer.

Given my bed size it took 6 pieces to pull it off but my first try worked out ok. Might need to make it shallower. Radiator is a Cold Case and Fan is 1" from power steering pump so I can't move it back more. Material is PPA-GF on a Bambu X1C.

Great job! But you can see the steps on the top. Did you export as an STL? Some CAD programs require adjusting the resolution settings for STL files. I don't know about Bambu Studio, but Orca Slicer which is based on Bambu Studio can natively open Step files. I get better resolution when importing files as step.

The other nice thing about having the top separate is you can emboss something on it.

I did a STL. I know you can import STEPs into the Bambu slicer, just never have tried it. I'll give it try since its a small part next time I have that material ready to use. Thanks for the heads up! FYI, this was done in SolidWorks.
