Neighbors suck

I bought my house from the crazy neighbor!
I get along fine with my neighbors. I have taken the neighbors on both sides of me to the track with me. One neighbor next to me has 2 Harleys, the neighbor behind us has one. The son of the people across the street has washed and waxed the Dart more than I have. He even washed the truck once.
I don't push my luck. I never start the car before 10am or after 10pm. I always run with mufflers on. I always drive the speed limit in the neighborhood. I learned from Mom's neighborhood, if you are driving 5 over they will swear you were flying through the neighborhood. I never spin the tires in the neighborhood (ok, in the driveway). When I had the extra Dart I had the car tent in the backyard. When I got the enclosed trailer I cut down two bushes so I could pull up enough not to block anyone's view.

I live between two brothers I've know since we were 13. Believe it or not the noise complaints come from a deaf, thats right deaf neighbor behind us.
Go figure.

I've had the the jerk boyfriend of the old maid next door to me complain about my two labs. He was very condescending as was she. Before I met her she trampled over my property to see what I had, then we met and she gave me the rules. I lived there for three years before her. Her boyfriend made some threats and tried to scare my wife one day. I told him what would happen to him if anything was out of place, even a hair on my dog. Never had another problem, he could tell I was serious. My wife has a trampoline in the backyard. The same lady thinks that it's annoying. The cop in the area suggested we put bells on it. She has her house for sale right now so I guess the neighborhood won the battle. She gave everyone fits.

Reading some of your stories makes me glad that I have tolerable and understanding neighbors. I live in this apt. that is in the middle of all these upper class people who drive BMWs, Mercedeses, and other high class cars and they dont mind me at all. I f anything they are very interested in my car. Every morning i get up at 5 in the morning to crank my car so it can warm up...now i only have a slant 6 but the duel exhaust is pointing right at the 2 story house that serves as the apt. about ..maybe..25 ft away. I havent got any complaints. Thank goodness for good neighbors when u can find 'em.
