does a 1967 barracuda have a neutral safety switch on the trans like other year models. I looked on Rock Auto to buy one but they only list one for a 68 model. the reason I'm asking I bought my project with no eng. or trans in it and just trying to get some idea how I can wire one into the orig. wire harness and not use the one that comes with aftermarket shifters.
 
Mine has one, I had the same problem when I purchased a new street Strip trans for my 67 if I remember correctly I think I had to cut the pig tale off the wires leading to the trans and run one wire to the center pin on the tranny plug
 

'67 is different; it's just a neutral safety switch. '68 and later also control the back-up lights. Hence the additional connections...and the different shift rod (probably isn't the technical name for it) inside the tranny connecting to the valve body (on the 904 anyway)... you don't want to know how I found this out...
