ok once again not a trans guy. i have 73 dart sport. i put 727 in it.
so do i order one for a 727 or my dart? trying to make sure my dart plug works or have to get different one

You order the switch for the year of the transmission. There were different versions of the NSS used in different year transmissions. They all look identical on the outside but the part that contacts the "rooster comb" on the manual valve (that's the part that goes inside of the trans.) changed a couple times over the yrs from then they started using the 3 prong plug in 69. The 3 wire plug that plugs into the NSS is all the same.
