I'm using a later style neutral safety switch and wire on a '67 Dart. I only need one wire going up to my starter relay. Initially I just used the black wire, but it didn't work, so question is what do all the wires do on the later style connectors? I know, easy enough test by using a jump wire, but just looking for input for now. Thanks for the input.

I've been told either way, some say the 3 wire switches will not work on a single wire transmission and some say other way around. You may have to play with SWITCH DEPTH AKA shim washers, but as said above, it's the center wire.

That very well could be. I'm going to rework the wire tomorrow, so I will update the thread.

Ok I used the center wire on the connector and it works! The color however is not the same as the photo. I think mine was purple or blue or something. At any rate, the center wire is the one to use. Thank you for the input @1WildRT
